The Minidyn Android application (fr.rincentndt.minidyn), the Mapview web application (mapview.fr), the www.rincent-ndt.fr website, and the processing software supplied with our equipment (Heavydyn, Maxidyn, Minidyn, IziPMP, sonic transparency, mechanical impedance).
3. Minidyn Android application
Permissions
| Permission | Use |
|---|---|
| Location (GPS) | Position is an integral part of the measurement: each deflection test is tied to a precise point on the surveyed pavement. Used during measurement only, never in the background. |
| Bluetooth | Connection to the Minidyn deflectometer, a Bluetooth communicating device. The app does not scan for nearby devices and connects only to already-paired equipment. |
| Internet | Displaying the map background. |
| Vibration | Signalling the end of an acquisition or an error. |
No access to contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, calendar or your personal files.
Data
Measurements, geographic coordinates and the identifier of the paired equipment are stored on your device. We operate no server able to receive them: no data is sent to us. Exporting to Mapview or to our software happens at your initiative, to your own computer.
If Android Auto Backup is enabled on your device, the system copies the app’s data to your personal Google Drive account. This backup is handled by Android according to your settings and is not accessible to us.
Third-party services
The application includes no audience measurement, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It uses the Google Maps SDK — displaying a map sends Google your IP address and the area being viewed — and Google location services. These components are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Crash reports sent to Google Play are sent by the Android system, not by the application.
Deletion
Uninstalling the application or clearing its data in Android settings removes all local data. Backups are managed from your Google account.
4. Mapview web application
Mapview is a progressive web application that runs in your browser. Projects — measurements, coordinates, maps — are stored locally on your computer. There is no user account, no upload and no copy on our side: backing up your data is your responsibility. To erase it, clear the site’s data in your browser.
The application is delivered by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which records technical access logs. Domains and DNS are managed by OVH SAS (France). No project data is sent to them.
5. www.rincent-ndt.fr website
Information submitted through our forms (name, company, e-mail, phone, message) is used to answer your enquiry and manage our commercial relationship. It is kept for 3 years from the last contact.
Google Analytics measures site traffic and sends Google LLC your IP address and the pages you visit. These cookies are set only after you consent, and you can change that at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of each page. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are set without consent. The Minidyn and Mapview applications use no advertising cookies or marketing trackers.
6. Installed software
The software supplied with our equipment runs locally. It contains no telemetry or analytics and establishes no connection to our servers. Updates are downloaded at your initiative from our portal.
7. Legal bases
| Processing | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering enquiries and technical support | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Customer and prospect relationship management | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Website audience measurement | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Technical logs and security | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Accounting and legal obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
Because the measurement data handled in Minidyn, Mapview and our software is never collected by us, it is not processed by RINCENT ND TECHNOLOGIES at all.
8. Recipients
We do not sell or rent your personal data. The only recipients are Google LLC (website audience measurement), Netlify, Inc. and OVH SAS (hosting and domain names, acting as processors), and competent authorities upon valid legal request.
9. Transfers outside the European Union
Website audience measurement and Mapview hosting involve processing in the United States. Google LLC and Netlify, Inc. are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework with the U.S. Department of Commerce – verified on 19 August 2026 at dataprivacyframework.gov.
Your measurement data does not leave your equipment and is not transferred.
10. Retention periods
| Data | Period |

11. Security
Encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS) and regular security updates. Local storage limits the exposure of your data; in return, backing it up is your responsibility.
12. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. These rights cover the data we actually hold: contact enquiries, prospecting data and technical logs.
To exercise them: sebastien.pellevrault@rincent.com or ndt@rincent.fr. We respond within one month at the latest.
